Determined to entrench efficiency and effective service delivery, the governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has reshuffled its top management cadre.
In the arrangement, some Directors were deployed to State Offices to serve as superintendent in furtherance of management resolve to strengthen operations, and foist competency and maturity in handling managerial issues.
Besides bringing the Commission closer to the communities, the move is expected to fast track development in the region through effective interpretation, monitoring and implementation of decisions using the State Offices.
Perceived inelegance experienced doing business with the Commission will no longer exist since certain official interface hitherto reserved for the Managing Director can now be channel through the Offices mounted by Directors.
With this development, the State Offices are now strengthen to weather challenges that may surface from the development conscious regime of Dr. Christian Oboh as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
From inception the Dr. Tarilah Tebepah led Board had not hidden its desire for experience and vigour towards achieving a diligent Commission, focused on the implementation of its mandate as conveyed by the Niger Delta Development Master Plan.
